This healthy chocolate peanut butter brownie banana bread is made with almond flour and naturally sweetened with ripe bananas and just a touch of pure maple syrup. The key to making this brownie banana bread so moist and delicious is using overripe bananas, the more brown spots the better!
It’s also grain free, dairy free, gluten free, and paleo friendly. This incredible brownie banana bread is lower in carbs than traditional banana bread and made with healthy fats thanks to the ultra-nourishing almond flour. There is no added oil and it’s perfectly moist without it!

Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Banana Bread

The original recipe does not call for peanut butter, but I added a few tablespoons of natural drippy peanut butter to the top of the banana bread batter before baking. Drizzle 3 to 4 tablespoons of peanut butter on top of the batter after you have poured it into the loaf pan. Swirl the peanut butter into the top layer of batter with a knife, just enough to get a nice marbled effect. Top with additional chocolate chip then bake.
