A delicious morning treat, this cinnamon raisin french toast bake is a lightened up version made with almond milk, gluten free bread, and a caramelly base. The best part about this french toast bake is that you prepare it ahead and bake it later. Perfect for mornings when you don’t have time to cook.
If there was ever a decadent french toast that was healthier, this cinnamon raisin french toast bake has got to be it. It’s pretty much one of the best breakfast recipes you will find and it’s so delicious.
It’s everything a french toast bake should be but lightened up so it’s healthier for you. Eggy, custard infused cinnamon raisin bread loaded with cinnamon and a caramelly bottom. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t get better than this.
The caramelly base is a mix of maple syrup, coconut sugar, and a little bit of butter. The custard is a simple mix of eggs, almond milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and a little coconut sugar.
